Field Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing on-site maintenance and repairs for our clients. If you have a strong technical background and enjoy working in the field, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

  • Installation: Install HVAC components like compressors, motors, piping, and ducts.
  • Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure systems are safe and efficient, including periodic inspections, cleaning, and adjusting equipment.
  • Repair: Diagnose and troubleshoot system malfunctions and perform repairs.
  • Troubleshooting: Check for leaks, recharge refrigerant levels, and ensure the refrigerant cycle is working properly.
  • Energy Efficiency: Install smart thermostats or seal ducts to improve energy efficiency.
  • Warranty Work: Perform warranty services.
  • Documentation: Accurately document installed equipment, including make, model, serial number, and test measurements.
  • Communications: Explain issues to customers and clients, and how to use HVAC systems.
  • Rotate being on call for emergencies
  • Knowledge of welding techniques is a plus

Qualifications:

  • A Minimum of one year of on-the-job experience.
  • Ability to lift up to 100 pounds.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Excellent customer communication skills.
  • Dedication to being on time and working safely.
